Georgia's Monster Circus

Want to learn about different types of puppets? Want to have a go at puppeteering? Book a visit from the Monster Circus!
Georgia's Monster Circus is an exciting and imaginative 1 hour 30 minute immersive workshop. Providing the opportunity for children to puppeteer a variety of high quality puppets, designed especially for them.
Each monster puppet possesses the ability to perform a circus act- It is the children's job to become the puppeteers and bring the circus to life!
Monster Circus Workshop is suitable for children ages 7-12. The workshop is 1hr 30 minutes long
Workshop includes: Puppetry demonstration, Hands on Puppet play, Puppet Craft.
For schools, a presentation on how to design puppets can be added to the workshop.
Needs a decent size clear space to run in. A large classroom / drama room/ school hall/ community hall.
Mini Monsters is an adapted workshop for children aged 4 - 7. The workshop is 1 hour long
Includes a short puppeteering demo where the children are invited to join in. Make your own spoon puppet monster.

Fish Puppets
Make your own articulated fish puppet from recycled materials.
Make a shark, a tropical fish, goldfish or an imaginary mythical fish! Its up to you!
All materials and equipment provided
Suitable for anyone aged 6 and up.
(Altered accordingly for the age group)
Hand Puppets
A variety of hand puppet workshops are available.
Milk bottle puppets or paper cup puppets are perfect for a short workshops or drop ins.
Hand puppet workshops, where the puppets are made over a longer duration of a few consecutive sessions are available too.
The workshop can be adapted for theme and age of participants.
Woodland Creature Workshop
Meet the Creature of Holywell Dene and his wheelbarrow full of friends!
Children are free to explore the wheelbarrow full of woodland themed puppets.
Workshop consists of making a nature themed craft/ puppet and exploring the wheelbarrow full of puppets.
Suitable for chidlren aged 4 -11

Shadow Puppets
Design and make your own shadow puppets!
If you have a particular story in mind, you can also create shadow props and scenery to help tell your story!
Comes with shadow puppetry theatre.
